Edwards Pillar is a large pillar of rock in Mac Robertson Land, East Antarctica . In the Prince Charles Mountains , it rises on the western flank of Mount Stinear .
A survey team from the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions to explore the Prince Charles Mountains set up a surveying station here in 1971. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named the rock pillar that same year after geodesist Norman F. Edwards, a member of the survey team.
