Edwin Benne

Edwin Johannes Benne (born April 21, 1965 in Amersfoort ) was a long-time player in the Dutch national volleyball team and has been a volleyball coach since 2003.

Benne played in various international teams as well as in the Dutch national team. As a coach he led a Dutch professional team to the championship title and built a volleyball school with 250 members. From August 2008 to January 2010 he coached the Schweriner SC , with whom he became German champion in 2009. Since March 2010 he has been the head coach of the U19 national team of the Netherlands. In 2011 he coached the women of DJK Augsburg-Hochzoll in the second Bundesliga South in Germany .
