Efthymis Filippou
Efthymis Filippou also Efthimis Filippou ( Greek Ευθύμης Φιλίππου ; born January 18, 1977 in Acharnes ) is a Greek screenwriter known for his collaboration with Giorgos Lanthimos . He was the winner of the “Golden Osella” award for Best Screenplay at the 2011 Venice Film Festival . He shared the award with Giorgos Lanthimos. In 2016 he was invited to become a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences .
At the 89th Academy Awards , he and Giorgos Lanthimos were nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for The Lobster .
