Egon Behle

Egon W. Behle (born August 25, 1955 in Nidda ) is a German manager and CEO of MTU Aero Engines Holding AG.

Egon Behle studied aerospace engineering in Stuttgart.

After five years at Robert Bosch GmbH , Behle worked from 1987 to 1991 as sales manager for orbital systems and ground infrastructure at the space company Dornier . He then worked in various management positions for the MAN transmission specialist Renk AG . After another position as managing director of Fortuna Spezialmaschinen GmbH, he switched to the automotive supplier ZF Friedrichshafen AG in 1997 , where he managed several business areas.

From 2002 to the end of 2007, Behle was CEO of ZF Lenksysteme . On January 1, 2008, he took over as CEO of MTU Aero Engines , which he resigned on December 31, 2013. Reiner Winkler took over as CEO of the company .
