The former parish hall

The former town hall of Petterweil was probably in the middle of the 19th century at the gate to the castle built the town.

From 1865 to 1970 the building served as the municipality's town hall . The council chamber, the guard room and the local prison were housed here. After Petterweil was incorporated into the city of Karben , it has served as a fire station for the local volunteer fire department since 1994 .

The house was built as a massive two-storey building with an almost square floor plan. A flat tent roof spans the structure .
