Appearance

1st execution

The badge of honor of the 1st version from 1955 with a height of 24.5 mm and a width of 39.4 mm shows a waving colored enameled state flag of the GDR, whereby the state coat of arms of the GDR cannot be seen and in its place the logo of SV Dynamo is emblazoned, which extends over both the upper and the lower edge of the flag. At the bottom of the flag three oak leaves can be seen pointing to the left, above which a banner with the inscription SV DYNAMO can be read. The small space between the oak leaf branch, the writing tape and the flag is broken through. The back of the badge is smooth and shows a horizontally soldered brooch pin and a stamped or engraved award number. The miniature also handed over with the certificate is of the same quality, 24 mm wide and 18 mm high.

2nd execution

The second version of the needle is almost identical to its predecessor, but no longer has an award number on the reverse side and the previously open space is now closed and hatched lengthways.

3rd version (1973–1989)

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the founding of SV Dynamo, the badge was given a new design on March 27, 1973. The now 39.4 mm wide and 25.5 mm high badge of honor has the shape of a red waving workers' flag, on which the logo of the Dynamo sports association can be seen in the middle within two flanking branches of oak leaves. Under the flag there is a waving banner with the inscription SV DYNAMO . The back of the badge is smooth and shows a horizontal brooch pin soldered on. The miniature of this badge, which is awarded with a certificate, is of the same quality and 17.2 mm high and 22.5 mm wide.
