The Eichinger See is a 2 hectare lake directly on the old Würm in the municipality of Karlsfeld , between Dachau and Munich.
It was dredged in 1936 on the property of the former mayor Georg Eichinger to remove gravel for the BMW (today's MAN site). It is a groundwater lake with the Wehrstaudenbach as an outflow in a northerly direction.
