The wooded mountain Eichkopf has a summit height of 366 m above sea level. NN and belongs to the southern edge of the Frauenseer forest . It is located between the districts of Kieselbach and Kambachsmühle in the municipality of Krayenberggemeinde in the Wartburg district in Thuringia .
The Eichkopf offers several viewpoints of the Werra valley around Merkers-Kieselbach. The “Kreuzbuche” stands near the summit. The southern slope has been used intensively for centuries, the few dirt roads end at an LPG building complex on the outskirts.
