Eidēseis dia ta anatolika merē (this is the scientific transliteration, transcribed Idisis dia ta anatolika meri, Greek Εἰδήσεις διὰ ἀνατολικὰ μέρη , German: news from the eastern regions ) was an Austrian newspaper in Greek , which was published from July 2, 1811 to 27. Published December 1811 in Vienna .

Its editors were Joseph Franz Hall, rector of a lyceum and censor of Greek books, and Euphronis Raphael Popowitsch, teacher of the Greek community in Vienna . The newspaper appeared on Tuesdays and Fridays and had eight pages. It contained reports of political and military events in Europe, business news, literary news and news from the Ionian Islands . Because they could not meet the expectations of the Greek community, the news from the eastern areas soon ceased to appear. It was replaced by the Greek Telegraph , which appeared from 1812 to 1836.
