The Federal Personnel Office EPA ( French Office fédéral du personnel OFPER , Italian Ufficio federale del personale UFPER , Romansh Uffizi federal da persunal UFPER ) is a federal authority of the Swiss Confederation .
It is a federal office of the Federal Department of Finance (FDF).
tasks
The Federal Personnel Office is responsible for the personnel policy of the Swiss federal administration . It develops the basis and instruments for the control, further development and coordination of the human resources of the federal administration with around 38,000 employees.
The tasks of the Federal Personnel Office:
- Preparation of the Federal Council's personnel policy business
- Advising the departments and administrative units on the implementation of personnel policy
- Design of federal personnel law and the wage system
- Control of federal personnel expenses with nationwide instruments and guidelines
- Personnel controlling and reporting: reporting to various bodies (Federal Council, Parliament, etc.)
- Labor market analysis, employer branding and recruiting
- Operation of a training and further education program for all employees of the federal administration
- Development of instruments for personnel and management development
- Coordination of basic vocational training in the federal administration
- Ensuring equal opportunities for federal staff: gender equality; Consideration of employees of different generations, languages or cultures; Integration of people with disabilities
- Design and operation of the central personnel information systems of the federal administration
- Central personnel service tasks for the offices of the Federal Department of Finance (FDF )
- Ensuring company health management for the federal administration
- Information for employees of the federal administration
- External communication and maintaining contacts with the media and the public
- Maintaining contact with the social partners
