MC Yankoo (born August 27, 1981 in Vienna ; actually Aleksandar (Aleks) Janković , Serbian - Cyrillic Александар Јанковић ) is a Serbian-Austrian rapper .

Life

MC Yankoo was born in Vienna and grew up in Vienna's 17th district. He became known through his song with Rene Rodrigezz and DJ Antoine , Shake 3x , which made it into the Ö3 Austria Top 40 .

His first record deal at the age of 17 was unsuccessful. Further appearances in the "Balkan scene" followed under the name Salex . In 2004 he went on a tour with his group LDT through Italy, Austria and Germany. From 2008 he recorded songs with MC Stojan and became more and more popular. This was followed by Slatka Mala , Kakva Guza , Tvoje Tange . In 2012 the summer song Loca followed with DJ Mladja. In 2009 he founded his own music label. The song Ne Zovi Me reached number 10 on the iTunes Dance Charts. Ja Volim Balkan , the second release together with Dado Polumenta and MC Stojan, was successful in the dance scene for months. In 2012 the song Shake was released 3 times . Here he worked with DJ Antoine and Rene Rodrigezz .

The song Moje Zlato with Milica Todorovic is the most clicked video in the Balkan region on Youtube with currently 140 million views.
