Dado Polumenta

Damir "Dado" Polumenta ( Cyrillic  Дадо Полумента ; born August 29, 1982 in Bijelo Polje , Yugoslavia ) is a Montenegrin singer-songwriter .

Life

Polumenta was born in 1982 as the son of Montenegrin Bosniaks . He has a son with Slovenian model Ana Marija Kikoš , with whom he lived for three years. Because of differences of opinion, the two separated shortly after the birth of their son. In December 2012, Polumenta married the Islamic religion teacher Selma Mekić. After five and a half months of marriage, the couple divorced. In July 2016, Dado Polumenta announced a new relationship with Ivona Ivković. Their daughter was born in October 2016.

Career

His first album Jasmina in 2000 for Best Records was not very successful, but he was not discouraged. With the help of his uncle Šako Polumenta, Dado Polumenta released his second album in 2005 under the name 100 Stepeni for Grand produkcija , a Serbian music production company. The album Volim te followed in 2007, the album Zauvijek tvoj in autumn 2008 and Buntovnik in November 2010 . Dado Polumenta released his latest album in 2012 under the name Virus .

The comeback

While working on the third album, Polumenta ended the collaboration with Grand Produkcija and started a new one with the music house Gold Music . A few months later he released his third album, Volim Te (2007). Shortly afterwards, Polumenta received the Najbolji crnogorski pjevač na dijaspori ( Eng .: best Montenegrin singer in the diaspora) at the 2007 Montefolk Festival.

After a few months, Dado Polumenta published a revised version of the song Beautiful (Kafa Espresso) by Christos Dantis . In his version he tells of his constant love for his ex-girlfriend Ana Marija, even if there were many difficult moments in the relationship, "Ana Marija will always have a special place in his heart".

A year later, in June 2008, the single was Ljepša Od Noci as a duet with šako polumenta and as the title of the latter on his album Sanjao Sam San ... published. The song turned out to be one of the biggest hits of the year. Shortly afterwards Dado Polumenta released the ballad Moja Srno , which he sang at the Narodne Muzike 08 festival in Vogošća , Bosnia and Herzegovina .

In November 2009 he released the single Fali Mi Ljubav , in May 2010 in a duet with one of the most popular Serbian singers Aca Lukas the single Sedam Subota as the announcement of the new album, which was released in November 2010.
