Eidsgavlen is a cliff in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . In the Alexander von Humboldt Mountains of the Wohlthat massif , it rises 1.5 km south of the Eidshaugane .

The cliff was discovered and photographed from the air during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher . Surveys and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960) were used to map it. Its Norwegian name means something like " isthmus gable ".
