Eifion Thomas Lewis-Roberts (born February 13, 1981 in St Asaph , Denbighshire ) is a Welsh rugby union player who is used on the position of the pillar . He plays for the Sale Sharks and has so far been used once for the Welsh national team .

Roberts played as an amateur at Ruthin RFC in Wales until 2005 and was also a farmer in his hometown until he moved to the English professional league Guinness Premiership in 2005 . After a few seasons, he was first accepted into the ranks of the Welsh national team by Warren Gatland in November 2008 and made his debut in the game against Canada . Due to the tour of the British and Irish Lions some regular players are missing in the summer of 2009, so that he was nominated again for the squad. However, he cannot participate due to an injury.

Due to his stature and his weight of over 130 kg, he was nicknamed The Fridge (the refrigerator), in allusion to the American football player William Perry .
