Eigen (Ebersburg)
Own is a desert in the area of today's municipality Ebersburg in the district of Fulda .

Eigen was located between the Ebersburg districts of Ried and Thalau, approximately 15 kilometers from Fulda.
history
According to Konrad Lübeck , Eigen was created as early as the 9th century. It was first mentioned on August 10, 1314, when Dean Hartrad vom Johannesberge exchanged it for various goods with the nunnery in Blankenau . In 1339 he gave the property to three brothers for long lease. It is not known when the place became desolate.
