Eiji Hanayama ( Japanese 花山 英 二 , Hanayama Eiji ; born August 21, 1977 in Tochigi Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Hanayama learned to play soccer on the school team at Utsunomiya Gakuen High School . He signed his first contract with the Urawa Reds in 1996 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1998 he moved to league rivals Gamba Osaka . In 1999 he moved to the second division club Vegalta Sendai . For the club he completed 13 games. He then played for Tochigi SC . At the end of 2005 he ended his career as a soccer player.
