Eiko Rott

Eiko Rott (born June 23, 1970 in Mettmann ) is a former German hockey player .

Eiko Rott was successful as a club player in the hockey Bundesliga . From 1988 to 2004 he played at HTC Uhlenhorst Mülheim , Harvestehuder THC , Mannheimer HC and Club an der Alster Hamburg as well as abroad for Hockey Cernusco (Italy) and HC Southgate (England).

Eiko Rott won the European Cup four times, was German champion eight times, German cup winner once and Italian and once English champion twice. Eiko Rott was the top scorer in the Bundesliga in 1996 and played 13 times in the German national hockey team .

His father Wolfgang Rott is also a former hockey player and 1972 Olympic champion in Munich .
