A network for children is a funding program of the German federal government for Internet offers aimed at the target group children. The Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media makes one million euros available for this program every year. The aim is the "production of high-quality, national information, education and entertainment offers for children from six to twelve years". The funding focuses on new Internet offers, and new modules on existing Internet sites for children are supported. By October 2015, 75 funded websites had gone online. These include, for example, Die Böse Wölfe , the radio play site Ohrka.de and TricKINO , a total of 128 projects were funded, which means that some websites have received multiple support.
