The Einfachblättrige Astilbe ( Astilbe simplicifolia ) is a plant of the genus Astilbe ( Astilboides ) in the family Saxifragaceae (Saxifragaceae).

The single-leaved splendor spar is a perennial plant that reaches heights of 10 to 30 centimeters. The plant forms a rhizome . The leaf blade is simple, ovate, often 3 to 5-lobed, roughly serrated and measures 3 to 10 × 2 to 6 centimeters. The flowers are white.
Occurrence
The single-leaved splendor spar occurs in Japan on Honshū in light deciduous forests and bushes.

The single-leaved splendor spar is rarely used as an ornamental plant for rock gardens and groups of trees. It was cultivated after 1893. There are numerous varieties (selection):
- 'Dusty pink': The plant reaches heights of 40 to 50 centimeters, the flowers are dark pink.
- 'Aphrodite': The plant reaches heights of 40 to 50 centimeters, the leaves are dark bronze, the flowers light red.
- 'Carnes': The plant reaches heights of up to 35 centimeters, the flowers are light salmon-colored.
- 'William Buchanan': The plant reaches heights of 25 to 30 centimeters, the leaves are tinged red, the flowers are white.
