Influence number

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In strength theory, the influence number is the relationship between the deformation of a body at any point and the load acting on the system , generally force or moment . An influencing number always describes the effect of a load on deformation. If several loads act on a system, the calculation of a deformation requires knowledge of the influencing figures related to these for all loads.
