The enclosure of Hindwell ( English Hindwell Enclosure ) is the location of a Timber Circle . It is north of Old Radnor near Kington in Powys in Wales .

The late Neolithic enclosure at Hindwell, which is of great importance due to its type, was discovered in 1995 on aerial photographs. Its monumental size made investigation essential. In 1995, a small excavation was carried out to determine the nature of the site and to obtain dating information. The excavation revealed that the enclosure consisted of a series of closely set posts. In each post pit there were the partially charred remains of a large oak trunk with an average diameter of 0.8 m. No artifacts were found in the excavation, but two radiocarbon dates of the outer growth rings of the posts showed a construction date of around 2700 BC. About 1400 mature oaks with a height of 6.0 meters were placed in an oval with a diameter of about 400 m.

The timber circle of Walton Court is located in Old Radnor, north of the A44.
