The Swiss magazine Purchasing, Materials Management, Logistics (EML) has been published in German since 1961. It currently has a print run of 4,500 copies and has been published by Dornacher Binkert Publishing since 2010 .
The magazine is aimed at buyers , responsible material managers and logisticians in the fields of industry , trade and commerce . The addressed group of people is informed about numerous purchasing and materials management topics, packaging, warehousing and logistics.
history
From 1961 to 1970 the magazine was called Der Einkäufer: an independent Swiss specialist magazine for materials management and was published by Sauter Verlag ( Basel ). Until 1963 the magazine appeared bimonthly, from 1964 onwards the publication was changed to monthly. Since April 1970 the magazine has been the official organ of the Swiss Buyers and Material Administrators Club . In 1971 the Seltisberger DEK-Verlag took over the magazine and renamed it Der Einkäufer + Materialwirtschaft . In 2010 the publication of the magazine switched to Binkert Publishing GmbH.
