The Einstødingane (Norwegian for hermits , hermits ) are a group of three small islands off the Mawson coast of the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . They are 3 km north of the Stanton Group .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped it using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen Expedition in 1936/37 .
