Eirik Sæterøy (born June 26, 1997 ) is a Norwegian freestyle skier . He starts in the disciplines of slopestyle and big air .

Career

Sæterøy has been participating in the AFP World Tour competitions since 2012 . He won his first Slopestyle victory at the NOR Freeski Cup in Drammen in February 2015 . In the same month he made his debut in Park City in the Freestyle Skiing World Cup , finishing 48th in Slopestyle. In season 2015/16 he won the Nor Freeski Cup Slopestyle in Vassfjellet and won at the Norwegian championships in second place in the Big Air. At the beginning of the season 2016/17 he reached third place in Big Air in Milan and in Mönchengladbach his first podium finishes in the World Cup. In January 2017 he won Big Air at the Nor Freeski Cup in Dombås . At the X-Games Norway 2017 in Hafjell , he won the silver medal in the Big Air competition.
