The railway bridge Bad Mergentheim is a railway bridge the railway line Crailsheim-Königshofen on the boundaries of the district town Bad Mergentheim in Main-Tauber-Kreis in Baden-Wuerttemberg .

History and description

The steel bridge was put into operation on October 18, 1869 with the opening of the line. It follows the Bad Mergentheim train station in the direction of Igersheim and Markelsheim and is 107 meters long. The bridge leads between the castle park and the spa park over the Tauber .

Monument protection

Thanks to its low height, it also serves as a fitness device

The bridge stands as part of the entirety of the "Württembergische Tauber Valley Railway" under monument protection .
