Moradabad railway accident
In the railway accident in Moradabad on April 28, 1920 near Moradabad , Uttar Pradesh , India , an overcrowded express train ran into a freight train . 150 people died.
Starting position
The express sailed in a sandstorm the route Allahabad - Dehradun of Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway . Three Hindu wedding parties with a total of several hundred participants also traveled on the express train .
the accident
The sources are silent about the cause of the accident. As a result of the collision, three bogie cars of the express train derailed , were badly damaged and caught fire.
