Parli railway accident

The express train from Manmad to Kachiguda had stopped in Parli Vaijanath . A freight train was traveling on the stretch in front of him , an incline .
the accident
The last 15 freight cars detached themselves from this freight train and rolled backwards into Parli Vaijanath station . By setting the switches , these wagons hit the express train standing there , from which some passenger wagons were badly damaged.
consequences
24 people died in the accident and 32 were injured.
