Railway accident in Waldenburg
The Waldenburg railway accident occurred on October 22, 1913, when a runaway freight car collided with a train on the Waldenburg tram . 14 people died.
Starting position
There was a violent storm on the day of the accident . On the Waldburger freight station (now Wałbrzych ) of the Prussian State Railway was ranked . An empty gondola was parked, which had not been secured against rolling away by either a handbrake or a drag shoe .
