Eisma is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the Estonian rural community Vihula in Lääne-Viru County .
Eisma is located fifteen kilometers northwest of the Estonian city of Kunda . The village has 48 inhabitants (as of 2006). With its holiday complexes and sandy beaches, it is located directly on the Baltic Sea . The village belongs to the Lahemaa National Park ( Lahemaa rahvuspark ).
Eisma was recorded in 1796 under the name Wänsame on the map of the German Baltic cartographer Ludwig August Mellin . The original fishing village developed into a popular resort for Estonian townspeople in the 20th century.
The modern port building by Eisma was completed in 2007.
In Eisma there is a 60 meter high VHF transmission mast for broadcasting radio programs.
