Heinrich Dieter "Heinz" of the mills (born December 13, ^jul. / 26. December  1914 ^greg. In Reval ; † 1. June 2005 in Munich ) was a Baltic German historian .

Life

From 1934 to 1941 Heinz von zur Mühlen studied history , German literature and art history at the Universities of Dorpat and Breslau (there with Hermann Aubin ). In 1947 he was with the dissertation The population and economic history conditions in the rule Oberglogau to the 18th century in Hamburg Dr. phil. PhD. From 1951 to 1956 he worked as a historian for the DRK tracing service in Hamburg, then in Munich. He also worked as a member of the Baltic Corporation Estonia Dorpat student union .
