Johannes Feldmann
Johannes "Hans" Feldmann (born November 24, 1911 in Dünaburg ; † May 4, 1994 in Bamberg ) was a German-Baltic pedagogue .
Life
Feldmann attended the state German high school in Mitau . From 1931 to 1934 and again from 1937 to 1939 he studied at the University of Riga and at the German Herder Institute in Riga and at the German Pedagogical Institute in Riga. At the Herder Institute he registered the previously used German place names in Latvia , the public use of which had been banned in 1934. In 1938 Feldmann worked as a teacher at the grammar school in Mitau.
From 1946 to 1973 he was employed as a study assessor , most recently senior teacher , at the grammar schools in Kronach and Bamberg in Bavaria.
