Eizōken ni wa Te o Dasu na! ( jap. 映像 研 に は 手 を 出 す な! ) is a manga series by Sumito Ōwara that has been published in Japan since 2016. It was implemented as an anime television series in 2020 , internationally known as Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! has been published. The story tells of three girls who start an anime school club and produce films themselves. It belongs to the genres of drama and comedy .

action

The high school student Midori Asakusa ( 浅 草 み ど り ) has been enthusiastic about animes since she was a child, wants to work on them herself and has been creating sketches and scenarios for films for years. But she is a loner, and she finds contact with her classmates in her high school in the small town of Shibahama difficult. Only Sayaka Kanamori ( 金森 さ や か ) knows about her secret hobby. They often spend their time together, but Kanamori has a more pragmatic relationship with other people and does not see Asakusa as a friend. But one day they run into Tsubame Mizusaki ( 水崎 ツ バ メ ), who also goes to school, is already a well-known model and is secretly anime-enthusiastic like Asakusa. The two decide to realize their dream together in a school club and Kanamori wants to give them a hand. Her roles are quickly found: Asakusa as the author, director and draftsman of the background, Mizusaki as character designer and animator and the busy and sometimes solid Kanamori acts as producer. In doing so, Kanamori repeatedly removes obstacles that the school council, school management or other clubs put in their way for their classmates. Rooms and a supervisor have to be organized, material found and production financed. And the club has to justify its existence, after all, there is already a film club. With a short film that is shown in the school, the three can prove to the other students the seriousness of their efforts.

The club, which now calls itself Eizōken, is then commissioned to produce a short film for the robot club. It should be shown at the school festival and Kanamori also works out that the Eizōken can also receive income with it to finance future projects. But the cooperation with the client turns out to be more complicated than expected - the robot club often doesn't know what it exactly wants, and Asakusa still has to create a scenario and script out of it. But for the first time they also get support from other clubs, with computer technology and assistance with drawing, and by chance they find the clay club threatened with dissolution. Its only member is Dōmeki Parker, who is clamped with her large sound archive for the Eizōken. With this she can save her club activities and the archive and Eizōken gets a new member for the tone. The film is finally finished to the satisfaction of the robot club and a complete success at the school festival. Kanamori's intensive advertising also contributed to this, for which she also exploited Mizusaki's celebrities as a model. Mizusaki's parents also saw the film and accepted the path their daughter had chosen - until then they were still convinced that Mizusaki had to become an actress like them.

In order to build on the success of the school festival, Kanamori suggests taking part in the Comet-A convention with a film and selling DVDs there. The production is to be financed by the dealers in a local shopping street and the city and the street will appear in the film. The merchants are eager to support the Eizoks, but the school rejects any activity that makes the club earn money outside of school. Only with a lot of public pressure from the dealers, the city and advertising on social media by the club can the school be convinced to support the project. Even if production is going well, Asakusa will not be able to finish the script. Only joint excursions by the club and a few problems in production give her the impetus she needed for the completion. After all, the sale at Comet-A is a great success, the club is satisfied with its latest film and wants to tackle many more projects.
