Yekaterina Vladimirovna Galkina ( Russian Екатерина Владимировна Галкина ; born August 10, 1988 in Moscow ) is a Russian curler .
Galkina played at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin in the team of Skip Lyudmila Priwiwkowa . She won the gold medal at the 2006 European Curling Championships in Basel.
In February 2010, Galkina took part in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver (Canada) as a member of the Russian team . The team finished ninth.
In the run-up to the Olympic Games, Galkina modeled freestyle skier Ekaterina Stolyarowa , curler colleagues Alexandra Saitowa and Olga Zyablikowa , ice hockey player Svetlana Kolmykowa and Anna Prugetona , together with short tracker Tatjana Borodulina , who started for Australia , and her Russian compatriots Jelena Nikitina , figure skater Ekaterina Bobrowa , ski crosser Marija Komissarowa and ski jumper Irina Avakumowa for the lingerie manufacturer S&M.
