Anna Alexandrovna Prugowa ( Russian Анна Александровна Пругова , born November 20, 1993 in Khabarovsk ) is a Russian ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with Agidel Ufa from the Shenskaya Hockey League since 2016 . Between 2010 and 2016 she played regularly for the Russian national team .
Career
Prugova attended a Super League game played by Amur Khabarovsk at the age of 11 . She noticed the then goalkeeper of Amur, Alex Westlund , and she then enrolled at the Amur ice hockey school. At the age of 14 she played with boys of the same age. She caught the eye of the coaching team from Tornado Moskovskaya Oblast , which Prugiwa signed. With Tornado she won the Russian championship several times as well as the IIHF European Women Champions Cup in 2010 , 2012 and 2013 .
Anna Prugova studied at the Russian State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism .
In 2007 she made her debut in the national junior team at a four-nation tournament in Dmitrov. There she established herself quickly and ousted Anna Vinogradowa from the goalkeeper position. In 2009 she took part with the U18 national team in the U18 World Junior Championship, where it finished seventh. In 2010 Anna Prugowa received the nomination for the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver and at 16 years and 86 days was the youngest player in the ice hockey tournament. The Russians took sixth place, where Prugowa was used in the preliminary round match against the USA and was substituted at 0:10 in the 31st minute.
From 2011 Prugowa was a permanent member of the national team and completed the 2011 , 2012 , 2013 and 2016 world championships , winning bronze medals in 2013 and 2016.
