The IIHF European Women's Champions Cup 2009/10 was the sixth edition of the of the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF discharged competition . The tournament, which was held from October 30, 2009 to March 14, 2010, was attended by 20 teams from 20 countries. The final round was held from March 12 to 14, 2010 in the German capital Berlin .

For the second time in the history of the European Women Champions Cup, none of the finalists were seeded. The four finalists were determined in two qualifying rounds. In addition, no Swedish team took part in the competition for the first time.

Preliminary round

The preliminary round games took place from October 30th to November 1st, 2009. The venue for Group A was Salzburg in Austria , the games of Group B were played in Ventspils , Latvia, the pairings of Group C took place in Kralupy nad Vltavou and Group D was played in Alleghe .

The winners of groups A and D qualified to participate in group E, while the winners of groups B and C were placed in group F.

Intermediate round

The intermediate round games took place from December 4 to 6, 2009. The German capital Berlin acted as the venue for Group E and Group F was played in Slaný in the Czech Republic . The two teams in the first places in a group qualified for the Super Final .

Group E

The Espoo Blues from Finland and Aisulu Almaty from Kazakhstan were already set for the games in Group E. In addition, the OSC Berlin and Agordo Hockey qualified through the preliminary round.

Super final

The Super Final took place from March 12th to 14th, 2010 in Berlin . As in the previous year, none of the four finalists was seeded. Four teams were only able to qualify via the two qualifying rounds.

In the tournament, the women from Tornado Moskowskaja Oblast won all three games.
