Group C

Group C saw the Swiss champions EV Zug advance to the next round. They substantiated their claim to group victory on the first day of the tournament, when HC Cergy-Pontoise was beaten 12-0. Since Zug won on matchday two and Cergy-Pontoise defeated the hosts from Bergkamen, the Swiss started the last day with a two-point lead. Super final

The Super Final took place from December 2-4, 2005 in the Swedish capital Stockholm . The host and defending champion AIK Solna was seeded . There were also three qualifiers from the previous round, the Swiss champions EV Zug , the Russian champions SKIF Moscow and the Finnish champions Espoo Blues , which means that the same teams met again in the final round as in the previous year.

After the first match day, the defending champion from Solna and the Scandinavian neighbor from Espoo sat at the top of the table after winning over their competitors. Both teams then met on the second day of the tournament. Since Moscow and Zug drew a tie in the first game of the day, it was already clear before the game of the two league leaders that if there was a winner, the Russians and Swiss would have no chance of winning the title. Solna finally won the game just 2: 1 and thus defended the title, since no team could overtake them due to the direct comparison. The final day of the tournament, on which Espoo defeated Zug and Solna also defeated Moscow, was therefore only of statistical significance.

A total of 1,025 spectators attended the six tournament games.
