Karoliina Stina Margaretha Rantamäki (born February 23, 1978 in Espoo ) is a Finnish ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Russian club SKIF Nizhny Novgorod since 2007 . She previously worked for her home club Espoo Blues . Rantamäki is one of the most successful Finnish ice hockey players ever and, alongside Emma Terho (née Laaksonen), is the only Finnish ice hockey player who has participated in five Olympic Winter Games with the Finnish national team . The bronze medal was won twice. In addition, Rantamäki took part in 13 world championships , where she landed eight times on the bronze rank . At club level, she won a total of eleven national championship titles in Finland and Russia, plus the IIHF European Women Champions Cup twice . Furthermore, numerous individual awards fill her vita.
