Way of life

With its long snout and long, bristle-shaped tongue, it extracts its food, pollen and nectar , from flowers, mangrove trees and fruit trees, such as bananas and mango. It also feeds on fruits. He rests alone or in small groups of five to ten animals. Twigs or rolled up banana or hemp leaves serve as sleeping places. It becomes active at dusk and is quite loud at night.
