Dani Wilde (born August 25, 1985 in Hullavington , Wiltshire ) is a British singer and guitarist who combines elements of different styles such as blues , country and gospel to pop songs.

life and career

Dani Wilde graduated from the Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) with a First Class Degree in singing in 2005 .

In September 2007 Wilde was able to sign a contract with the international blues label Ruf Records , with which she was able to release her debut album Heal My Blues in January 2008. This was followed by tours of Great Britain, Europe, Canada, the USA and Africa. In 2009 she released her second album Shine , which was produced by well-known blues producer Mike Vernon . In May 2012 the third studio album Juice Me Up followed .

Wilde managed to place three of her singles at number one in the official European I-Tunes Bluescharts: Bring Your Loving Home (album: Heal my Blues ), Abandoned Child (album: Shine ) and Bitch (album: Girls with Guitars ). The single Loving You , released in 2013 on Bri-Tone Records, made it into the top 40 of the European country music charts.

collaboration

Wilde has worked with a variety of different artists. In 2010 she performed at WOMAD together with Pee Wee Ellis . She was also the opening act for Jools Holland , Journey , Johnny Winter and Robben Ford .

In 2008 she toured with Candye Kane , Sue Foley and Deborah Coleman on the " Guitared and Feathers Blues Caravan Tour " organized by Ruf Records .

In 2011 the " Girls with Guitars Blues Caravan World Tour " followed together with Samantha Fish and Cassie Taylor . Together they also recorded the studio album " Girls with Guitars ". In 2012 a live CD and DVD followed, but now with Victoria Smith on bass.

social commitment

Wilde is very committed to children's rights. She also worked with the organization "Moving Mountains", which tries to improve the education of street children and orphans in Embu (Kenya) .
