Fortum Waste Solutions (formerly: Ekokem) is a Finnish company in the field of toxic waste disposal. Among other things, it operates the Sakab ( ) extermination facility in Sweden. The company is a subsidiary of Fortum and was active as Ekokem before the takeover by Fortum.
Ekokem and Veolia Environnement have won the tender for the storage of the Syrian poisonous gas.
