El Gran Wyoming (2015)

El Gran Wyoming (real name José Miguel Monzón Navarro ; born May 15, 1955 in Madrid ) is a Spanish comedian, actor, writer, musician, screenwriter and TV presenter.

Life

He first worked as a doctor, then from 1982 he played with his rock band Paracelso in Madrid bars. After a few extras he got the main role in Fernando Trueba's Ópera prima in 1980 . He came to television in 1984 for the quiz Silencio se juega .

The fact that the program El peor programa de la semana , which he has moderated since 1993, has been discontinued, he attributes to political motives. His support for the protests against the Partido Popular government also cost him the moderation of Caiga quien caiga (from 1996). He participated in the socially critical documentary compilation ¡Hay motivo! .

Since 2006 he has co-moderated a satirical review of the day at La Sexta with El intermedio .
