¡Hay motivo! is a feature-length documentary that premiered in March 2004 and consists of a series of 32 three-minute short films and an epilogue. Each of the films was designed and shot independently by a director. The common theme is the criticism of different aspects of the political and social reality in Spain during the government of the Partido Popular in the legislative period from 2000 to 2004.
One of the reasons for the realization of the project was probably the joint declaration by actors and directors during the Goya award ceremony in 2003 , in which they transformed it into an indictment against the Iraq war .
