El Madmo is an American punk band with Maddie ( Norah Jones ), El (Daru Oda) and Mo (Andrew Borger).
The band was first founded as a fun project. Norah Jones was able to appear incognito in her disguise and thus live out a piece of freedom that she could no longer solo due to her fame.
On May 20, 2008 their first album EL MADMO was released on the label Team Love Records , a label owned by Conor Oberst .
