Elastrator with associated rubber rings

The elastrator is a forceps-like instrument for castrating animals, mainly sheep . The castration is carried out using an extremely narrow rubber ring, which is placed around the base of the scrotum by means of the elastrator , whereby the blood supply to the testicles is cut off and they then die.

In the BDSM area , however, the elastator is used to squeeze the nipples or briefly constrict the scrotum or penis . In the scrotum and penis, however, irreversible damage to the nerves can occur after a short time , so that the corresponding parts of the body become permanently numb. When constricting the penis, this risk is particularly high and its effects are devastating. In the scrotum and penis, the constricting rubber ring can often only be removed with special scissors.
