Elena Albu

Elena Albu (born September 1, 1949 in Iași ; † March 2003 ) was a Romanian actress .

Albu studied at the Bucharest IATC , where she graduated in 1973. The year before she was seen in her first roles on stage and in the cinema. She has been seen regularly over the years, including in many productions by her husband, director Mircea Veroiu . However, she was mainly active as a stage actress.

As such, she began in Reșița with Mrs. Warren's trade and held the Asociația Oamenilor de Teatru și Muzică (ATM) price for her interpretation of Arden von Faversham in Ploieşti . From 1989 she and her husband spent several years in France before they both returned to their home country.

She played her last theater role in the 1998/99 season in the play Die Schneemenschen . In 2003, she died of a cerebral haemorrhage in her home and was found on March 16.
