Elena Bodnarenco

Elena Bodnarenco (born March 5, 1965 in Soroca , Moldovan SSR ) is a Moldovan politician of the Communist Party of the Republic of Moldova PCRM (Partidul Comuniştilor din Republica Moldova) .

Life

Elena Bodnarenco studied economics at the Kharkiv School of Economics and law at the Free International University of Moldova (Universitatea Liberă Internațională din Moldova) . She worked as an economist and lawyer and also studied at the Academy for Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Moldova AAP (Academia de Administrare Publică de pe lângă Președintele Republicii Moldova) , from which she graduated with a master's degree in public administration. She was an accountant and vice director of a technical equipment company in Soroca. She began her political engagement within the Communist Party of the Republic of Moldova PCRM (Partidul Comuniştilor din Republica Moldova) as a secretary and later as first secretary of the party committee of Soroca district .

In the election of March 6, 2005 Elena Bodnarenco became a member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova for the first time (Parlamentul Republicii Moldova) . In this 16th legislative period, she was secretary of the Committee on Public Administration, Ecology and Territorial Development (Comisiei pentru administraţia publică, ecologie şi dezvoltarea teritoriului) from 2005 to 2009 . When choosing 5 April 2009 , the choice of 29 July 2009 , the choice of 28 November 2010 re-elected. In the 18th legislative period, she was secretary of the Committee on Human Rights and Interethnic Relations (Comisiei drepturile omului şi relaţii interetnice) between July 2009 and November 2010 . In 2011 she resigned her parliamentary mandate after she was elected mayor of Soroca and held this post until January 2015.

Elene Bodnarenco was re-elected Member of Parliament in the November 30, 2014 election for PRCM. In this 20th legislative period she is a member of the Committee on Public Administration, Ecology and Territorial Development and secretary of the PRCM parliamentary group . She is also active as Vice President of the Moldovan Women's Union (Uniunii Femeilor din Republica Moldova) .
