Eleonore Reuter

Eleonore Reuter (* 1961 ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

Reuter studied Roman Catholic theology from 1980 to 1986 at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn . There she received her doctorate in 1992 with a thesis on Deuteronomy . She has been a professor in the ecclesiastical service for exegesis of the Old and New Testaments at the Catholic University of Mainz since 2008 . Since the second half of the summer term 2017 she is dean of the Department of Practical Theology and thus successor to the bishop of Mainz consecrated Peter Kohlgraf . Reuter is a member of the board of the Catholic Biblical Works .
