Elfi tin
Elfi Zinn , née Rost (born August 24, 1953 in Rathebur , Anklam district ) is a German athlete ( middle distance running ). She won the bronze medal in the 800-meter run for the GDR at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal . Elfi Zinn was also successful in indoor competitions: in 1972 she was second at the European Championships in the 800-meter run. On January 14, 1976, she set an indoor world record with 2: 01.4 minutes in Berlin in the 800-meter run. She started for SC Neubrandenburg and trained with Walter Gladrow .
At a height of 1.65 m, she had a competition weight of 55 kg.
Elfi Zinn is a trained photographer and worked in the Foreign Ministry until the GDR was dissolved .
