Elisa Get out

Elisa Raus (born 1990 or 1991 in Demmin ) is a German press spokeswoman and beer sommelier . She became the first woman to win the 2019 World Beer Sommelier Championship in Rimini .

Professional background

Raus studied media studies in Potsdam . She has been the press spokeswoman for the Störtebeker Braumanufaktur since 2013 and a beer sommelier since 2016.

World Championship

Raus qualified third in the 2018 German Beer Summer Championships for the next World Beer Summer Championships. In 2019 she prevailed against 80 mostly male competitors from 19 countries in Rimini. In the knockout final she decided on the Westmalle Trappist beer ; the jury's choice was unanimous. The jury praised both Raus' expertise and her emotional and rousing beer presentation.
