The Elisabeth-Selbert-Schule in Hameln is a vocational school in the Hameln-Pyrmonts district with a focus on social pedagogy, cosmetics, care, agriculture and housekeeping.

School profile

The school teaches about 2000 students from 34 nations. In addition to vocational school training, other courses are offered, ranging from secondary school diplomas to high school diplomas. In 2017, the school won the German School Prize endowed with 100,000 euros , among other things for the extracurricular care of the students.

The award made available by the Robert Bosch Stiftung was presented at the ceremony on May 29, 2017 by the incumbent Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin.
